Vandoren saxophone reeds are available in a range of strengths to suit different playing styles and preferences. The VK1 synthetic reeds offer strengths that correspond to subdivisions by thirds of the typical half strengths found in traditional cane reeds. This precise system allows players to find a strength that provides the perfect balance between response, tone, and control. For example, a strength of 50 in the VK1 series ensures a robust yet flexible performance, comparable to a strength 3.5 cane reed. Vandoren’s detailed approach to reed strength helps saxophonists achieve optimal sound and feel for their individual needs.
It won't warp, ensuring consistency throughout long sessions. VK7 reeds are also 100 recyclable and hypoallergenic. They?re ready to play right out of the packaging, requiring no soaking or additional preparation, offering a hassle-free solution for musicians on the go.
- Specifically tuned for jazz articulation and projection
- Moisture-resistant design ensures lasting performance and stability
- No pre-soaking required - use straight from the packaging
- Eco-friendly and hypoallergenic for safe, sustainable play
