Nantel Musique is a family business founded in 1971 in St-Jerome dedicated to selling instruments and teaching music.  A couple of years later, the little enterprise expanded by opening a second store and musical education center at Place Rosemere (shopping center).

Then, a third location was opened in March 1984 at Centre 2000 in Laval, where the business became a lot more important.  With customers focusing more on Laval, we decided to close our doors in Rosemere.

In February 1989, the direction found the opportunity to open another store in  Montreal on rue St-Zotique  (between St-Denis and St-Hubert).

In 1995, Nantel Musique moved its Laval Store to 395 St-Martin Boulevard. (in their own building) to better serve their clients.  In 2008, our St-Zotique location became primarily used for as a musical education center and thus we opened a store to a larger and more convenient location on the “plateau” at 4590 St-Laurent Boulevard.  Nantel Musique Stores offer now a great selection of musical instruments within it’s two stores and continues to expand the brands and varieties of products offered.
