The new Sela Frame Drum is a modern version of one of the world’s oldest percussion instruments. With its shallow circular frame and responsive playing surface, it delivers the deep bass, warm mids, and bright overtones, making this instrument perfectly suited and flexible for rhythmic expression and diverse music environments. What sets this instrument apart is Sela’s innovative air-pressure tuning system. By regulating the air pressure inside the frame, you can precisely adjust pitch and resonance, giving you complete control over your sound.
This intuitive mechanism makes tuning effortless, whether you’re seeking meditative low frequencies or a sharper, more projecting tone.
No matter if you are a musician on stage, or a sound practitioner, or just looking to explore rhythm in ist purest form, the new Sela Frame Drum – available in five different sizes – invites you to experience a drum that respond to your personal expression.
