Inspired by the 1969 Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi*, Earwig shoehorns a giant variety of iconic fuzz sounds into the smallest effects pedal ever created. Roaring distortion, pulverizing crunch, and syrupy sustain—all in a comically small footprint.

Fatten Your Tone With This One Simple Trick.

Earwig utilizes four cascading gain stages, featuring silicon transistors and symmetrical clipping diodes, producing rich sustain and pleasing harmonic distortion. The circuit’s signature tone stack blends treble-boosted and bass-boosted frequencies, yielding an extensive range of versatile fuzz tones. It’s like magic, but it’s actually science.
