Find the desired location for your hanger. Drive screws through mounting holes into wall, preferably into a wall stud. If there is no stud behind the hanger, remove the screws and drive the drywall anchors into the wall holes, then re-mount hanger using the screws provided. Pass the threaded end of the yoke through the small rubber grommet and spacer barrel, then screw into the base. The Martin Guitar Hanger yoke arms are adjustable in width. Simply bend the arms so the first fret passes through the gap. Guitar keeper washers may be slipped onto the ends of the yoke for added security. Take care that the instrument does not hang on the tuning machines, as this may affect their position.
