The Nantel Verdict
The Nantel Verdict
Canadian-built construction with meticulous attention to detail; Jumbo body geometry maximizes resonance; HG EQ electronics maintain acoustic character through amplification rather than coloring it; solid tonewoods and traditional bracing philosophy in a contemporary package.
Amplified performance requires compatible PA or amp system; HG EQ battery life should be monitored for gigging musicians; case recommended for transport given the instrument's investment tier; cable quality matters when running through systems.
A professional-caliber instrument where Canadian craftsmanship meets practical amplification needs. The Fairmount Studio justifies its price through genuine tonal integrity and engineering that refuses to compromise acoustic character for electrical convenience.

Fairmount Studio Jumbo Black HG EQ
The new Godin Fairmount Studio Jumbo features a distinctive design that blends the comfort and playability of a Concert Hall–sized guitar with the deeper body of a dreadnought. The result is a well-balanced instrument that delivers enhanced projection, a fuller tone, and stronger low-end response than a traditional Concert Hall model, while remaining comfortable to play.
Its high-end construction features a solid cedar top and solid sapele (mahogany) back and sides, producing a warm, rich, and highly responsive tone. The mahogany neck, paired with a rosewood fingerboard and bone nut, ensures smooth and precise playability.
A versatile, modern, and inspiring instrument designed to preserve the full acoustic character even when amplified, and of course crafted with the utmost care in our Canadian workshops.
