The Nantel Verdict
The Nantel Verdict
Baritone scale extends tonal range into lower frequencies; dual pickup architecture (humbuckers + noiseless single coils) bridges clarity and aggression; Modern C-shaped neck profile balances comfort with control; Limited Edition Black finish presents visual distinction from standard Player lineup.
Requires heavier gauge strings and potentially adjusted setup for baritone tuning. Baritone scale demands familiarity—not ideal for players transitioning from standard guitars. Quality hardcase recommended given the instrument's investment and gigging potential.
A purposeful baritone that doesn't compromise on Fender's playability DNA. The Fusion Jaguar Baritone Special delivers the tonal foundation and stage-ready construction serious players need without unnecessary complexity. Worth the investment for committed users.

The Fusion Baritone Jaguar® goes lower, hits harder, and gives extended-range players a Fender platform that boldly keeps up. At 27" scale and tuned B to B, this Jaguar is purpose-built for drop tunings and the kind of low-end that sits at the foundation of a heavy mix. The classic Jaguar rhythm circuit control section gets a meaningful upgrade — it houses a “Spin-a-Split” wiring via Fender roller pots that progressively transform the humbuckers into single coils for a leaner, more cutting tone, while a TBX Tone circuit gives players more powerful tonal sculpting options. High-output humbuckers handle the heavy lifting across a 12" radius ebony fingerboard that keeps runs and bends effortless across the extended scale.
