Cort - Modern Masterpiece Series Acoustic/Electric - Transparent Burgundy #MODERN-BURGUNDY-TBD-CASE

Timeless Tonewoods for Traditional Tone
Amazing acoustic tone begins with superior tonewoods from Cort. The Modern Burgundy combines a European spruce top with mahogany back and sides, a timeless recipe for warm lows, rich and complex mids, and detailed highs. Complete with a reinforced walnut neck, and ebony fretboard, bridge, and pins, the Modern Burgundy is a superb representation of the luthier’s art with non-traditional character.

Modern Concert Body Shape Redefines How Big a Small Guitar Can Sound
Inspired by the player-favorite Grand Concert body shape, the Modern Concert body shape gives the Modern Burgundy a comfortably compact feel without sacrificing sonic complexity. With richer, more robust tone than you’d expect from a smaller body, Modern Concert re-defines how a small-bodied guitar can sound.

Hear Every Nuance with Dual Side Sound Ports
Instead of a soundhole in the top, the innovative design of the Modern Burgundy incorporates dual side-positioned sound ports. With the sound directed towards your ears, you’ll be able to hear every nuance of your technique, even when playing softly. Not only do these non-traditional soundholes make a bold visual statement, they allow the European spruce top to vibrate more naturally for richer acoustic tone. And your audience with be rewarded with balanced, room-filling acoustic tone, whether they’re sitting in front of you or off to the side.
