Free shipping: how it works
The essentials
Orders of $100 or more ship free almost everywhere in Canada, for items under 35 lb volumetric weight. Below $100, standard rates apply at checkout.
The conditions, plainly
- $100+ before taxes, calculated on the order total.
- Weight limit: items must be under 35 lb volumetric. Very large items (acoustic pianos, some amps and PA gear) may require a shipping quote — we’ll contact you if so.
- Excluded regions: Nunavut, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and non-metropolitan remote areas. If that’s you, contact us — bus delivery is often an affordable option.
Good to know
- An order can ship in several boxes on different days — still free.
- Carriers include limited insurance (up to $100). For valuable instruments, additional coverage is available at about 3.25% of order value.
- Prefer to skip shipping entirely? Free pickup at our Laval and Montréal stores — usually ready faster too.
