The Nantel Verdict
The Nantel Verdict
Five-string configuration expands lower register; piezo pickup system with Yamaha's refined electronics; solid spruce top and maple body construction; direct USB output capability; designed with both traditional and contemporary repertoire in mind.
Requires compatible amplifier or audio interface; piezo pickups benefit from dedicated preamps; standard 4/4 sizing; cable and stand recommended as initial purchases; bow technique translates from acoustic violin with minimal adjustment period.
A capable five-string electric violin that balances acoustic sensibility with modern performance practicality. The fifth string and solid build justify consideration for players serious about expanding their sonic palette beyond traditional acoustic contexts.
