The Nantel Verdict
The Nantel Verdict
TransAcoustic system integrates reverb, delay, and chorus directly into the guitar's electronics; Bluetooth connectivity enables wireless monitoring; concert cutaway body balances projection with playability; high-fidelity effect processing maintains acoustic character while expanding sonic palette.
Requires battery management or USB charging for effects; Bluetooth-compatible headphones or speakers essential for full feature access. Learning the onboard controls takes minimal time. Ideal for players already comfortable with acoustic guitar fundamentals who want to explore layered sound design.
The TAS1 C merges acoustic authenticity with modern production capabilities at a meaningful investment point. It justifies its price through genuine integration of effects—not as gimmickry, but as a natural extension of the playing experience for those ready to evolve.

Step Beyond the Acoustic guitar
Evolving the innovative TransAcoustic Guitar concept of adding effects to your natural sound without external gear, the new generation pushes this forward with additional features including a looper and Bluetooth® support. The entire creative process of listening, playing, and creating is brought together in a single guitar, where inspiration meets innovation.
Blending technology with tradition
Whilst the design and build quality of the instrument is impressive alone, the TransAcoustic effects takes the guitar to another level. Through Yamaha's unique technology that enhances the guitar's natural resonance, the chorus, reverb, and delay effects are immersive and blend seamlessly with the acoustic tone
A Lineup Tailored to Every Player
Available in three grades and two body shapes—dreadnought-style and concert-style — TransAcoustic guitars are designed to complement individual playing styles and lifestyles. The varied lineup ensures you can find a model that resonates with your needs and musical expression.
Built-in Effects
Actuators installed on the inner surface of the guitar resonate in response to the vibrations of the strings. The vibrations are then transmitted to the body and to the surrounding air, producing rich and immersive effects such as reverb and chorus that actually radiate from within the body.
Simple Controls
A compact and intuitive control layout allows easy access to the features supported by each model—such as effect adjustment, looper, or Bluetooth pairing. Small, space-efficient buttons help reduce the amount of body wood removed, preserving the guitar’s natural acoustic tone.
Bluetooth® Support
Bluetooth functionality enables audio playback from your smart device through the guitar. The sound is transmitted by the vibrations of the actuators inside the guitar, giving a realistic sound that brings music to life.
Mobile Editor
The iOS/Android compatible "TAG Remote" app is a dedicated editor for TransAcoustic guitar players. Various settings such as effect parameter adjustment and loop phrase management can be controlled on your smart device.
Rechargeable Battery
A built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery with magnetic charging connection provides extended play time of up to 5.5 hours.
