KAOSS PAD returns with a reimagined touch interface, expanded effects, and a workflow built for modern creators. With dual-touch performance, advanced vocal shaping, and flexible connectivity, KAOSS PAD V gives vocalists, guitarists, producers, and performers a responsive tool for real-time sound manipulation. It reacts instantly to every gesture, turning touch into expressive, musical control.

What’s New in KAOSS PAD V

KAOSS PAD V introduces:

• Dual-touch control
• A next-generation Voice FX engine
• Hi-Z guitar/bass input
• Integrated USB audio interface
• Expanded sampling and looping tools
• A refreshed library of classic and modern KAOSS effects
• Program editing and onboard preset saving

It’s the most versatile and performance-ready KAOSS PAD to date.

Two Fingers. Total Control.

Take expressive performance further with new dual-touch operation. Move two parameters at once to build evolving textures – filter with delay, pitch with reverb, modulation with feedback, or any combination the program allows. Each gesture introduces new movement and sound-shaping possibilities.

Connected for Any Workflow

KAOSS PAD V integrates smoothly into today’s studio, stage, and streaming environments.

Use the MIC, LINE, and USB inputs at the same time to blend vocals, instruments, and computer audio in one unified setup. The balanced mic preamp delivers clean vocal input, while the dedicated Hi-Z jack lets you plug guitars and basses directly into the unit without extra hardware.

For computer-based workflows, the integrated USB audio interface makes it easy to record, process, or stream your sound. Whether you’re capturing performances in a DAW, running effects during a livestream, or monitoring through headphones, KAOSS PAD V keeps routing simple and reliable.

A newly designed power circuit and updated audio path provide stable, low-noise performance, making KAOSS PAD V equally at home on stage, in the studio, or anywhere you create.

Vocal KAOSS

KAOSS PAD V’s new Voice FX engine brings creative vocal processing to performances and production. Add harmonies, vocoder layers, pitch-morphed tones, and other expressive vocal textures in real time. You can also control external MIDI gear using your voice, opening entirely new ways to perform.

A Guitar Powerhouse

A dedicated high-impedance input makes it easy to connect electric guitar or bass directly with no additional hardware required. Explore textures like ambient swells, rhythmic modulation, time-based glitch effects, or reverb soundscapes, all shaped by simple fingertip control.

Record, Overdub & Loop

Capture ideas instantly using KAOSS PAD V’s sampling and looping tools:

• Sample up to 8 bars (dependent on tempo)
• Overdub layers in real time
• Maintain loop position accuracy during playback
• Use BPM-synced Step Hold to stay locked to the groove
• Access multiple playback and slicing modes for creative rearrangement

Perfect for remixing, live performance, or building evolving patterns.

Generations of KAOSS

Access a curated collection of effects from previous KAOSS PAD generations– filters, delays, reverbs, modulation, voice processing, and more. KAOSS PAD V blends contemporary power with the iconic sound-shaping that made the series a staple for performers and producers.

Customize Your Sound

Use the onboard effect editing tool to fine-tune parameters, build personal variations, and save custom presets directly on the device. Adjust pad-LED colors, program behavior, effect depth, and performance controls to match your workflow.

KAOSS Evolution

KAOSS PAD V builds on the familiar KAOSS interface while introducing deeper control and modern processing. It behaves more like an expressive instrument than an effects unit, merging tactile interaction with broad creative flexibility for today’s musicians, producers, and performers.
