The essentials
Every new instrument sold by Nantel is covered by its manufacturer’s warranty against defects. If something feels wrong, start a claim below — we confirm your coverage and handle the manufacturer paperwork for you.
What’s covered
- Manufacturing defects: electronics that fail, hardware that breaks under normal use, finish defects present at delivery.
- Duration: varies by brand — typically 1 to 3 years for electronics, often longer for acoustic instruments. Your invoice and the product manual state the exact terms.
What’s not covered
- Normal wear: strings, drum heads, batteries, tubes, felts…
- Accidental damage, drops and liquid damage
- Modifications or repairs done outside an authorized workshop
How to make a claim
- Fill out the warranty claim form — log in first and we pull up your order automatically, no invoice hunting.
- Add photos, or a video/audio clip if the problem is intermittent — the confirmation screen has a one-click button for it.
- We confirm coverage within one business day and handle the manufacturer paperwork. Many repairs are done in our own workshops (electronics in Laval, string instruments in both stores).
